"You are beautiful!"
Every young girl, teenage girl,
young woman and older woman wants to hear those words, whether they realize it
or not. Thousands of dollars are spent every year to purchase makeup products
that they think will make them look beautiful. Many others wish that they had
the dollars to spend on makeup, in order to look beautiful.
Guess what! True beauty is
inward beauty and has nothing at all to do with makeup.
Simply because a female is a
female, every young girl, teenage girl, young woman and older woman has an
inner beauty, inherent within her constitution. Perhaps it is not always
apparent. In fact, many females see themselves as anything but beautiful.
Perhaps this has more to do with body image than anything else.
The first beauty tip without
using makeup has to do with learning to see the inner beauty that is part of
being a female. See this in yourself. See yourself as beautiful, even if you do
not feel that way. If you begin to see yourself as being beautiful, you will
think and act that way. Tell yourself regularly, "I am beautiful."
The second beauty tip has to do
with finding a way to bring out the natural, physical beauty that you already
have. There are a number of ways that you can do this, without spending money
on makeup.
"Cleanliness is next to
godliness," is something that we hear, all the time.
Begin by making
certain that you bathe regularly. Shower or take a bath on a regular basis.
Remember that how often you bathe is up to you. It is a matter of personal
preference, but being clean will give you a beautiful, natural glow that has
nothing to do with makeup. If you are clean, you will feel good and look
beautiful.
Wash your hair on a regular
basis, because that is what others see first, before they see your face.
If your hair is shiny and clean, it has a certain natural beauty. You
will feel better personally and that will be reflected in your face.
Sit, stand and walk tall,
because this reflects your natural, physical beauty. You are beautiful to
others when you demonstrate good posture. Practice sitting, standing and
walking. There is a reason that girls walk around with book on their heads. It
is a beauty secret!
Find a hair stylist and ask him
or her, what might be the most appropriate hairstyle for the shape of your
face. You can look through books or magazines in the hair salon and find a
picture of a hairstyle you think might be appropriate. Ask your hair
stylist how he or she feels about you having your hair styled that way.
Choose
a hairstyle that is youthful, smart and makes you feel good about yourself.
Make certain it is easy to care for and looks good, no matter what kind of
weather you encounter, including wind or rain. This will enhance your natural
beauty.
Skin care is important because
you look in the mirror and see your own face. Others look directly at your face,
as well. Both your inner beauty and your natural, physical beauty are reflected
in your face. Washing your face on a regular basis with a good, cleansing, facial
soap will help to eliminate potential skin problems.
You may need medication
for treatment of acne and if that is the case, speak to your physician. He or
she may suggest some dietary changes. Guess what! You can have acne and still
be beautiful!
Look into the mirror and take a
good look at your normal facial expression. Does it show a person who is happy,
or unhappy? Does it show the true you? Do you have an angry expression, all of
the time? Perhaps you are more inclined to be full of fun and mischievous?
You can change your facial expression by smiling. "Let a
smile be your umbrella!" Your beauty will be reflected in your smile.
What you are thinking is
revealed in your face. Do you normally think good thoughts? Make a habit of
doing so and it will show on your face, too. Good thoughts have a way of
shining through your eyes. Many females have beautiful eyes. You probably do
too! Take a close look at them.
Dietary management and skin
care go hand in hand. If you eat properly, your skin will be beautiful. If you
do not know what you should be eating, make a point of talking to someone who knows
how to guide you with respect to a healthy diet. Talk to your doctor, your
parents or a nutritionist. Go to a library, find books on skin care or go
online and do serious research into the relationship between diet and skin
care.
Weight management is a major
concern for many females. If your weight is appropriate for your age and
height, you will feel beautiful. If you are not happy with your weight, do
something about it. Talk to your doctor, a weight loss and management counselor
or a nutritionist. Learn how to manage your own weight, rather than expecting
someone else to do it for you.
Clothing is important for beauty.
This also has to do with your general skin and hair coloring. Wear clothing that
suits your personally and is a good color for your hair and skin color. You
will be amazed at how much better you look and feel. Buy only clothing that
makes you feel and look beautiful. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion from
someone else.
Drinking sufficient water will
help to improve your health and your skin. When you are healthy, you look
beautiful, no matter what age you are.
Think positive thoughts and let
your inner beauty shine through, in all that you say and do. You have inner
beauty simply because you are a female. You also have natural physical beauty because
you know how to bring it out. You are beautiful.
